At CeylonSapphire.shop, we offer secure payment options tailored to the nature and value of fine gemstones and jewelry transactions.

Gemstones and Jewelry Shipped Directly from Sri Lanka
All loose gemstones, custom jewelry, investment-grade gemstones, and high-value gemstone purchases supplied directly from Sri Lanka must be paid via bank-to-bank transfer to the official bank accounts of Gamage Gems (Private) Limited, Sri Lanka.

Following order confirmation, customers will receive a formal invoice together with our official banking details. Payments should be made net of any intermediary bank charges. To ensure prompt processing, customers must include their order reference number when making payment.

Orders will be prepared for shipment immediately after cleared funds are received in our Sri Lankan bank account.

Investment-Grade and Exceptional Gemstones
For rare collector stones, investment-grade sapphires, large gemstones, and high-value private acquisitions, customers are welcome to arrange a personal viewing and purchase directly at our Sri Lankan office. Private appointments can be scheduled in advance for serious buyers, collectors, investors, and trade clients.

Selected gemstones and jewelry physically available through our Milan operations may be purchased using:

For purchases supplied within the European Union, applicable VAT will be added according to the regulations and VAT rates of the destination country or country of sale where required by law.

We reserve the right to request additional identity verification documentation for high-value transactions in accordance with international anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance requirements.

Shipping Methods

When you purchase a gemstone or custom-made jewelry item from CeylonSapphire.shop, we arrange secure and fully insured delivery to your destination. All shipments are professionally packaged and insured according to the value of the goods being transported.

Unlike many online retailers that embed shipping costs within product prices, we charge only the actual shipping, insurance, and handling costs associated with each shipment.

Shipments Originating from Sri Lanka

The following shipping methods apply to gemstones and jewelry dispatched directly from Sri Lanka:

  • Orders between USD $1,000 and USD $10,000
    Fully insured EMS International Express delivery with door-to-door tracking.
    Shipping Charge: USD $200
  • Orders above USD $10,000
    Fully insured FedEx International Priority service with door-to-door tracking.
    Shipping Charge: USD $350
  • Orders exceeding USD $50,000
    Fully insured secure transport via BRINKS, Malca-Amit, or equivalent high-security logistics providers specializing in gemstones, diamonds, jewelry, precious metals, and fine art.
    Shipping Charge: USD $700

For exceptionally valuable gemstones, shipping arrangements may be customized based on destination, insurance requirements, and customer preferences.

European Deliveries from Milan

For gemstones and jewelry available through our Milan operations, we offer fast and reliable delivery throughout Italy and Europe using premium courier services.

Most European deliveries are dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation and are typically delivered within 1–5 business days depending on destination.

All European shipments are securely packaged, tracked, and insured where applicable.

Taxes, Duties and VAT

International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs clearance charges, VAT, GST, local taxes, brokerage fees, or other government-imposed charges applicable in their country.

For purchases supplied from our Milan operations within the European Union, applicable VAT will be charged according to the relevant EU regulations and the VAT rate applicable to the country of destination or sale.

Customers outside the European Union should consult their local customs authorities before placing an order to understand any potential import costs.

To assist customers with estimating import costs, duty and tax calculations may be obtained using online customs duty calculators or by consulting local customs authorities. These estimates are provided for guidance only and do not constitute a binding quote.
